I've spent hours looking at stuff for bucket list ideas. And have come back with over five hundred challenges that I WILL complete by the day I die. Now since I have no idea when that day will come, I will be enjoying every minute I have, trying to complete my challenge, with my family's support at my side, and a mind full of curiosity. I will start my challenge and complete it, even if it kills me...

218. Buy a white pair of shoes and doodle on them
Well here is the second challenge I was doing during the Harry Potter marathon. I always wanted a pair of geek shoes, and I had look all over the interest that would fill my geek thirst, but I never found a pair that would do that. And so deep down inside I knew that I would have to make my own pair that would, and this challenge was perfect to fill both goals of A. getting geeky shoes and B. Doodling on a pair of shoes and making them one of a kind. And with these two goals in mind, I walked to a Dollar General that's down the street from my house, and bought the cheapest pair of white shoes I could find. And walked back home to collect the things I would be needing for the rest of the day for the Harry Potter marathon. This is what I grabbed; phone, Sharpie Markers, a book, gum, pencil, pen, high lighters, my "Spoiler" notebook, paint brush, Mod Podge, coloring book, crayons, and a book bag to carry everything in.
Now at some point you will figure out (if you haven't already) why I took all of those things with me. But today dear reader is not that day, but I will tell you a few why I brought some of those things because they have to do with this challenge, and only this challenge. I started to watch the Sorcerer's Stone, and started to draw on my shoes with the Sharpie Markers, I pretty much already had a plan in mind, but now all I had to do was to make it happen. I finished drawing by the time I was almost done with The Prisoner of Azkaban. I reached into my book bag and brought out the Mod Podge and the paint brush, this was my way of making sure that when the shoes got wet and the colors wouldn't smear into each other, and well, look horrible. I put three coats of Mod Podge on just to make sure I covered everything at least once.
After both shoes were completely dry. I tried them on, and to make horror, I found that the shoes where not the size eight I had gotten but size ten. My mind flashed back to the shore, and I remembered that at the cash resister, the women couldn't read the code on the tag and had to go back and grabbed a different pair to scan. She must have give me the pair she had gotten off of the shelf. I could feel hot tears gathering. I had worked so hard, and for so long. I wanted to scream, and to break something, but I did nothing, I just sat there and stared at the too big shoes, while Harry was busy meeting his Godfather for the first time sounded in the background. I looked at the time, it was two forty-five in the morning, I looked back at the shoes, and I couldn't stand to look at them anymore, I thrust them into my book bag. And just sat and looked into space for what felt like forever.
My mind started trying to come up with solutions. But the only good one was that I could use them for one of my projects for A.P. Art. Later at home I took pictures to send in for art, and have now decided that if any of you readers wears a size ten in women shoes, and wants these shoes are more than welcome to comment and say you want them, and I'll contact you and I'll send them to you. Other than that small detail it was a very fun challenge to do. I'll probably be going back and buy another pair and do it all over again sometime soon. 8 challenges down, 492 challenges to go...
