These challenges made me feel like a character out of a John Green book.
The first challenge was a bit challenging since I had to sneak out of the house was a bit hard with four other people in the house and a dog that loves to bark at nothing, but I made it out at 1:36 in the morning and drove to pick up Nick (One of the few friends I still have at school). We went to McDonalds, Normally I would have gotten some hot coco or a frosty, but I looked at the menu to see which one was cheaper and I saw that they had Eggnog and well, I decided to get it since I've never had Eggnog and what better time to try it right? So I get my Eggnog and Nick orders some chicken (He loves chicken with a passion by the way) and we sit down and I try the eggnog which I thought was going to be really nasty, but it wasn't that bad, it was rather sweet and creamy, I wouldn't get it all the time mind you, but every now and again I wouldn't mind having it.
After we got done at McDonalds (when we left I screamed "virgina balls!" and Nick stole a paper leaf decoration) we went to Wal-Mart, because we didn't feel like going home yet and where else can you go that late at night and be crazy? We shopped around for a little bit and did some stupid stuff at the toy section of the store. After a while Nick asked me if there was anything else on my bucket list that I could think of that we could do. And I remembered the pie challenge, and well it's thanksgiving week so pumpkin pies are very cheap and easy to find. So I got one and we went right outside of Wal-Mart, and bless Nick's dear heart and said "okay." And I smashed the pie into his face. The pie was left with the perfect press of this nose and mouth, and as a joke we went to our friend (Miklayla's) house and left a not on the that said, "From Charity and the Flirt (Nick), Loki'd." and left it on her door step and left to take Nick back home while playing the awkward question game that we tied at because it was almost six in the morning.
That night was the most I've felt alive in a long while, I'm excited to continue these challenges and see what challenges make me become more alive.
